Glenco proudly supplies American-made traffic and street signs along with a full range of municipal supply products.  

Simply put, we deliver safety. 

Owned and operated by the Abrams family, Glenco has roots in the municipal supply industry dating back over 75 years.  We continue to provide our customers with quality products, fast delivery, and exceptional service each and every day. 

In 2005, we opened our first sign shop in Mahopac, NY and moved to a larger site in 2016 to meet growing customer demand and allow for larger inventory.  We continue to offer American-made traffic safety signs, street signs, and pedestrian/school related products to customers in the New York tri-state area.   

Our resume and experience speak for themselves; since we launched two decades ago, we have produced: 

• 17,000 stop signs 

• 15,000 pedestrian/school crossing signs 

• 77,000 parking signs 

• 34,000 street signs 

If practice makes perfect, that’s a lot of practice!

Since we operate our own sign manufacturing facility, we are able to produce any custom item required. We have produced ornamental street signs using custom colors and logos, as well as standard and special-order items. We operate a robust sign resurfacing program that reduces waste by resurfacing old signs to look new rather than throwing them away and adding to landfills; this service also delivers cost savings by limiting the purchase of new signs.   

A true family business, Glen Abrams runs the operation with the help of his wife Stacey,  and manages a staff of seven. As the third generation in the municipal supply industry, Glen remains deeply devoted to the Company’s core values of service, integrity, and quality while advancing modern methods of manufacturing, technology, and efficiency. 

We have retained our position as a leading supplier of traffic, street, and safety signs and other traffic safety devices by adhering to our founding principles and traditional business practices. But we embrace new technologies in snow removal and solar-driven products that improve pedestrian safety, roadway traffic, and visibility while eliminating our reliance on the power grid and minimizing our carbon footprint.
